The Irish team from the UCD School of Politics and International Relations organised a workshop entitled ‘Pluralism in Ireland: Tolerance or accommodation of differences?’ to mark the launch of the Irish element of the EU-funded project, ACCEPT Pluralism 2010-13.

The workshop brought together policy makers, NGOs, representatives of minority groups, journalists, academics and other stakeholders to discuss the issues of cultural diversity and tolerance that arise in Irish society.

It took place in Dublin City Council’s City Wall space, centred on a remaining portion of the 12th century Hiberno-Norse city wall.
