The ACCEPT PLURALISM project (7FP research project, co funded by the European Commission) and the Greek NGO ANTIGONE- Information and documentation centre on racism, ecology, peace and non violence have organised on 20 December 2010 a Roundtable on Cultural Diversity in Greece.

Held on the occasion of the World Migrants Day on 18 December, the Roundtable was entitled: The cultural diversity in Greek society: tolerance, acceptance or recognition?

In seeking to open a discussion on cultural diversity in the Greek society and the way this diversity is accommodated (i.e. tolerated/or not, accepted/or not, recognized/or not), the meeting brought together Greek academics, NGOs’ and migrant associations’ members, journalists and relevant state stakeholders.
